Default Now my 19-4 looks like it did when I got it!

My first post ever on this forum was about my 19-4 that I purchased new in 1980. After my dad died in 1984 I gave the gun to my mother for her in-home personal protection. The target stocks were too big for her so I traded them to a friend of ours who had a Model 10 with PC magnas.

Earlier this week I purchased a set of K-Frame targets from jimmyjoe so that I could get the ol' girl back to her original 3T condition. Doesn't she look nice? These stocks are actually just about the exact same color as the ones that came on it.

Your dad would be proud (with the gun and the son).

They are not the correct style (being post 1982 type) but they look good.

Yeah, I realized that after I thought about it for awhile.

Oh, well...now I have to look for some period correct grips.

Sure looks a lot prettier than she did before the Flitz and elbow grease!

The more I've thought about this, I'm pretty sure these are the style that came on my 19-4. I'm assuming you're talking about having the cut-out on the left grip rather than the "football"?

I was under the impression that the speedloader cut-out appeared a little earlier on the K frames. Of course I may be mistaken.
