S&W Round Butt Model 65 Grip Options?
I tried a few searches, but didn't hit anything.
I am interested in the grips you all recommend for a round butt Model 65 with 3" barrel for concealed carry.
Thanks!!

I put Ahrends grips on my 65-5, and I like them a lot for CCW...
You can see his stuff here...

maybe these...
Smith and Wesson Combat finger groove grips (really hard to find)
And smooth Magna type (correct me if I am wrong about the name guys...) This set really NEEDS a Tyler grip adapter (for guys like me with big hands )
....and of course the 'El cheapo' Uncle Mikes rubber combat finger groove grips $15
also, take a look at the S&W website for some wooden boot grips that they are selling pretty cheaply....
Mine are pictured below.

Mod-65 grips
PGS- Precision Grip Specialties look cool on a stainless gun. You can get them through Brownell's

Is there any issue with finger grooves fitting your fingers?

For my 65-5, 3-inch, I use Precision Grips for CC and Uncle Mikes at the range if I'm shooting a lot of heavy stuff. My 64-2, 2-inch currently wears Hogue Bantam grips, which fit me and really shoot great, but I usually use the Pricision Grips for CC as well. I need to get off my behind and try some Tylers with the stock grips. Sure wouldn't mind owning some of the nice wooden grips either

I know they are ugly, but the Hogue Monogrip feels like it was custom molded for my hand. Wood is pretty but more uncomfortable for me with the magnum loads. Some will try to tell you that the rubber is sticky and not suitable for concealed carry but the stickiness wears off after a few hundred presentations and I've had no issues with the grips catching on clothing after a little use. My second choice mirrors OIF2. The 2 1/2 inch with magnas and a Tyler fits my hand well too. Find what fits your hand best and go with that.

No they are seem to be just about right for me, but only you can decide based on the length, girth, conformation of your hands/fingers....someone near you may have a few different pairs that they would allow you to fondle......er.....try out

There are a few other good grips around (bigger selection of good grips for my hand in K RB than any other gun), but the above is probably, all around, THE best.

I purchased several set of RB targets from fellow Forum members via the Classifieds section of the Forum. Place a WTB ad and see what happens. You can probably buy them off of flea-bay as well.
