I might actually use these....
I had a few moments of boredom yesterday, so I decided to chop the bottom from these free grips, you know they actually feel pretty good and are concealable. Be honest, what do you think?

If they fit your hand and offer better or at least the same control why not. I've modified several sets of grips to fit my needs better.

They look a lot better after your worked on them. I'm not a big fan of finger grooves, but if they fit your hand they should be fine.

I always like boot style rather than the longer "extended" type. Your work looks very nice.

I think they look great and actually better than the original. How about a pic of the bottom where the join together?

Probably because the light is bouncing off the reflection on the grip and trying to focus on your thumb.
But regardless, great job. Seamless.
