Default Mainspring change help

I changed out the mainspring on my PC 5906.

What am I missing? there is no tension in the trigger action.

Some thing is out of place. What is it?

Thanks,
Bob

It could be the mainspring is too short for that hammer stirup.

I ran into that when trying to switch hammers in one of my pistols. The little 'wings' that the mainspring tension on were much lower on the old hammer as compared to the new so there was NO tension. How do the lengths of the springs compare?

After fiddling some more, I think it has to do with the disconnector/ safetylevers.

The trigger action works fine without the slide on. As soon as I put the slide on the disconnector pushes the trigger bar down.

What is pushing the disconnector down?

What about the magazine safety?

Thumbs up

My pleasure. I obviously over thought it to begin with too!
