question on the sigma
I bought a sigma series 40 VE new a couple of years ago and am currently thinking about selling it but have found it is different than all of the other sigmas i have seen. Instead of having a matte lower and polished stainless upper mine is completely matte and was wondering if others have the same gun. It came with 2 14 round mags and a "tactical" knife in the case. I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction to find out more info on it for pricing.
Thanks for any help

Although not in current S&W catalog, still available new on Gunbroker for around $345, also eligible for $50 rebate from S&W if bought new from dealer. Last one I saw on Bud's was $249 new after rebate.

i also was wondering the same with a sigma i recently bought. it's all black, 2 10 round mags, knife, and in a blue case. almost all the ones i've seen are two toned. is this a first edition gun or something?

The allied forces edition is the same as the current model escept for color. It was produced in quantity for government contract and also sold to the public. The "allied forces" term is because it was issued to indigenous alies in the mideast war, such as Iraqi police.
Best bet on selling a used one is to find someone interested in the "tactical" color of the slide: that's the only difference.

I owned an Allied Forces gun as well, minus the knife, and to me it is a better looking gun in all black than the two tone. I remember paying more for this version rather than the two tone. Here is link to the Allied forces model. zorro49
