i just picked up a new toy s&w 410s with a kinda odd serial number vjj0000 any body have any info to share ? kinda like to know if this means pre production, demo, or what. thanks

My 5903 has a VJD prefix but the Nos. are not zeros.

The zero's are numbers just like all the others. It usually means the first gun of the lot, which is important if it is a PC gun or a limited run.

If VJI9999 was also a 410S, it doesn't meant much.
