Default model 25-5 question

There's a sweet model 25-5 on our local trader that I'm interested in. It's stated as being for .45Colt, but I'd like to know if you can shoot .45ACP in it with moon clips.

Thanks, Bob. I was hoping it would, but I may still get it. It's gorgeous, blued with the 8-3/8" barrel. Just trying to make up my mind if I want to add another caliber

You want to add another caliber. Love my 25-5 with 6 inch barrel. You could get it cut for moon clips if you wanted to shoot 45acp bad enough. Would just need to buy dies and some brass as long as you reload. You could even use 45acp bullets if you wanted.

Congrats, I just found the same 25-5 in 45LC with 8 3/8ths barrel. Mine is in the presentation box and looks to be nearly new. I too did not think I wanted to add another caliber but the more research I did on the 45LC I realized that it was one that I really wanted. I recently added .44Spc to my list of calibers and in doing the research for .44Spc I stumbled across lots of good info on the 45LC.
