Question holo sight for 647?

Still haven't found the a-HA! vision enhancer I'm after.

With this 8 3/8" .17 cal I'd like to extract a bit of it's potential accuracy/range. Have trouble with black/on/black iron sight.

Do NOT want to add more bulk....trying to find light-weight small holo sight that would give my geezer vision a bit of help.

Looked up a bunch of potential but haven't seen IT yet.

Had one of the original Swedish red-dot Accu-something or other about 20 years ago...it was great but now traded off. And it's too big anyway.

This does not have one of those Pickatinny things, so the set up has to screw into the existing sight threads.

tips/links/appreciated. There's so MANY choices now to wade through....

Look at the J-Point sight. Very small and light weight and you won't even notice it's on the gun.

It will help your eyesight.

Another J Point fan here, this is what it looks like mounted on my 610. BTW, like it so much that when my funds permit it I'll be putting one on my 617, 620, and model 67. IMO it's the best sight going for these old eyes.

As you can see, it sits well back and pretty low on the gun. One big plus is that it only took about 5 minutes to cut clearance for the sight with an Exacto knife in the Galco OWB thumbreak holster I have for the 610. It's also low enough that I haven't seen the issues with Offset I've experienced when using a rail mounted sight. I've found that with the 610 sighted in for 100 feet, the POI is within 1 inch of the sight all the way from 25 feet out to 130 feet when shooting the 40 S&W 180 grain Federal Champion from Walmart. It's hard not to love a sight that lets you center your group within the 10 ring at a variety of distances just by putting the dot on the bullseye. I also haven't had to touch the sighting since I zeroed it in. BTW, at the indoor range I shoot at I can't see the bull beyond 130 feet, so it's quite possible it's within an inch well beyond 130 feet, I just can't see well enough to say that.

BTW, here is a link to JP rifles and the J Point sight.
