Default Will S&W offer a 5" model 625 again?

One of my biggest gun regrets is selling my model 625. It had the 5" barrel and I just don't like the 4 inch model. The 5" balanced so well. Do you guys think they will ever offer the 5 inch model again?

I'm willing to bet that if you have a 625 and send it to the factory it will come home as a five inch , call and ask .

I have a 625-6 (5") and a 625-8 JM Special 4". I have mounted Simmons 30mm Red Dots on each of them. I am truly captivated by these two revolvers. I can shoot each one as well as the other. I have great targets from them both.

Some days I like one and some days another. Here is a target I shot just the other day - 25 yards, standing on the NRA 25 yard Slow Fire Pistol Target.

By the way, I was using the MiHec #68 200 gr SWC bullet not the #503 as I had written in error on the target. I have changed the target, but not changed the picture:

Here's another with the 4":

I just LOVE to cast bullets, reload, and shoot these fine revolvers!

That's good shooting Dale53. I carried mine to the range the other day for the first time. The range I went to only has 12 yard targets or 50 yard targets so I mostly used the 12 yd. I'm not a great shot but I sure like trying. This is 3 cylinders worth.

Sorry OP, didn't mean to take over the thread.

I love both the 5" and 4" 625s and have no real preference one way or the other. I bought a 5" for my son back when he was a kid, and he loved it, and I enjoyed shooting it too. He still has it 20 years later. Then I recently picked up a PC 4". I'd say I like the 4" just as well even though my son's old 5" doesn't have the IL.

I have the 3" & 4".Someday i'd like to get a 5" to add to the pile. I do have a friend with a 5" that I can borrow anytime I want. So that helps.
