Default Model 41 BBL weight set.

Just found in my stuff a new set of adjustable weights for a M41 in the S&W box. I have had these for over 30 years and they are still new. Anyone out there have an idea as to a value? Thanks in advance for any help you can give this old retired Trooper.

If they are new in the box, I would say $250 - $300.

All steel?
Looking at bottom - 2 or 4 holes?
Finish - blue steel or duller type?
In weight set marked box or handcuff box?
Condition?

Default 41 counter weights

Last pair I had, Sold for $ 425.00 Brand new, box markeked right and brand new condition. no marks at all. Pristene condition. Sold them at a gun show, I advertised no price, and on set up night a gentleman walked up and made the offer. Must have been a serious collector. perfect polishing & bluing. I bought them in the 60's and never used them. I have seen nice weights going from $ 235- $ 325.00 hope this helps.

Please post a few pictures so we can see what you have.
I suspect they are worth a little more than the indications here.

Default weight set

Hello,
you can do well on E-bay, the last set I saw there was an all steel set, Wrong box, but the correct type, 4 holes in the bottom. $765.00.
I don't believe they would sell for under $450.00 -$500.00 NIB.
I have several set's both the 2 hole and 4. Blue finish and one flat black looking set, still factory original. Too all that are unaware of the 4 hole set, the Earliest set had 4 holes, you could do all the adjusting from the bottom.
The later set, only had 2 holes, they made them easier to make and thus lowered there cost.
Boxes are printed on the end Counterweight set, and the other box they used was a standard box either handcuff, or other but same size, and on the inside was a piece of brown reinforcing tape, and marked on the inside or just on the tape, was the part number for the weights, from the parts list.
