A co-worker is a big Cowboys fan and always wears his "GOT FIVE?" (Super Bowl wins) shirt at least once a week. I usually wear my Pittsburgh Steelers "GOT SIX?" shirt the day after.

Sometimes I think the modern Dallas Cowboys are beyond help. I don't know what they need, but it is something more powerful than just help.

IMO, Dallas needs a new QB - Romo is good (sometimes), but won't get any better, a new offense coordinator, and most of all a General Manager. Dallas is a bunch of ego/players - not a team. If they spent as much time learning the rules as they do designing their stupid celebrations, they might learn something. Why celebrate something that they are paid millions to do??

So long as Jerry Jones is the owner and will NOT stay out of way, the Cowboys are doomed.
Rest assured Mr. Jones will not stay out of the way. He has made it crystal clear he bought the Cowboys so HE could run the show.
See Jerry run. Run Jerry run. Oh look Jerry is running them into the ground. Look look look.
I cannot look - it is too painful.

Yup , and it's not just the Cowboys with that problem, the Redskins have been a debacle since Daniel "Hands on" Snyder bought the team. Having the funding to purchase a franchise does not qualify one to run it. Leave football teams to real football people.

I remember well how I reacted the first time I saw Jones walking the sidelines during the game several years ago. I was flabbergasted. I'd never witnessed a tackier, more inappropriate act by someone who was not a coach, player, trainer, etc. Those people belong on the sideline -not the owner. I certainly could not coach a team with that kind of interference on the part of the owner.

When we lived in Dallas Clint Murchison owned them, Tex Schramm ran them and Tom Landry coached them. Then a guy named Bum Bright bought them...the name says it all. Five years later ta da, here comes Jerry Jones to seal their fate.
Sad to see what a once great organization can become when controlled by an idiot.

as a long time cowboy fan, i just knew when jones took over, this team was history. as stated earlier, the owner just won't keep his hands off and that means doom. will be an occassional bright spot, but the days of tom landry, roger staubach, troy aikman, and all the other cowboy greats are over.

Apathy has set in big time with the Cowsheep Nation.
One bright spot?
Tomorrow night the country gets to see Ranger baseball.

I guess that works IF you can ignore three Super Bowl wins.
Still, the team has been struggling for the last few years.

and my niners with mike single'win'tary??? pathetic. salary cap enforced mediocrity in the NFL this year.

Sir, I'm actually looking forward to the Broncos vs. 49ers. It should be hysterically funny.
Hope this helps, and Semper Fi.
