I'm looking for a shooter grade S&W Mod 27 with a 5 inch bbl that I want to convert to 38WCF.
If I can't locate a 5" 27 then I will consider a S&W Mod 28 with a 6 inch bbl. I really like a 5" "N" frame but the cost to shorten a 6" is considerable. The finish is NOT important and I don't care about box/papers. The gun must be in good mechanical condition.

I am willing to work a trade for either my 625-4 S-A Commemorative Mountain Gun in 45acp or my 629-4 44mag Mountain gun or a Winchester Super X2 Shotgun. Camo 12 gauge 26" barrel, 3 choke tubes, back bored, handles 2 3/4" field loads to 3.5" Goose loads.Limbsaver recoil pad installed.
OR
A Leupold VX III 6.5-20x rifle scope with target turrets.

My first choice would be the 5in Mod 27.

I have a 28-2 with a 6" barrel that is in excellent mechanical condition but has finish wear on muzzle, cylinder and frame. What sort of trade deal are you thinking?

I have a 5" Model 27-2 and am in NYS (Ulster Co.) which would simplify things for transfer. Please provide photos of your 625 and 629. Are they pre-lock? If they have the lock I am not interested.

Would you be open to a two for two trade?

My model 28-2 with a nice leather holster (bianchi, I think, I'll check when I get home) and an excellent condition Sig P220 45acp with box, and 2 8rnd mags. for your 625-4 and 629-4 The P220 is in near perfect condition. It is one of the laser engraved models that they make for military units upon request, with 501st Parachute Infantry Regiment info tastefully engraved on the right front face of slide and a nicely done version of their "Geronimo" emblem on the top of the slide, just in front of the Sig nite sights, which are still pretty bright. It is a full size stainless DA/SA P220 with decocker and black nitride finish. It's a beautiful looking and shooting Sig.
