19-3 or 19-5
Which one? Both are 2 1/2 inch barrels and both are in identical and excellent condition. He wants 525 for the -5 and 575 for the -3. Neither one has a box etc.
I'll probably pick up both only because i seldom see these available around here. But, if i could only get one, which one would get your priority and why? The -3 is obviously P&I, but I've heard very good things about the -5. I'm into collecting as well as shooting, but just recently got into "K" frames.
Thanks

You won't go wrong with either. If I could only choose one I would go with the -3 only because I prefer the older P&R guns.
Also do either come with the original box, paper or tools. If no original box or tools the pricing seems a bit high but it may be that I am out of the loop with current pricing levels.
If you have just started collecing the K frames you know what great guns they are. Good luck in choosing.

If you are going to shoot it (THEM) I would go with the -5 because it should have the best trigger.

What they said! I have one dash three 19, the gas ring is on the crane on the 3's and after fifty rounds or so the cylinder gets hard to turn due to powder blast residue makeing it past the crane rings and into the cylinder pin area. Not a big deal but bothersome. Heck buy both!

Good, it isn't just mine, then! My 19-3 (gas ring on yoke) does that too.

Both!
I also like the 19-3 for its P&R barrel cylinder...But ... The 19-5 has the better trigger.
