all origional .357 magnum model 19-7 built by smith & wesson's performance center, 3in barrel with a large "power port" compensator, 6 shot cylinder, steel blade tritium front night sight (sight still glows but dim due to age) with adjustable steel rear sight, has unique flat dark blueing with verry little signs of wear (only signs of finnish wear is rotational marks on the front of the cylindar). function is flawless and accuracy is exceptional.
this is a beautiful rare example of the loved and saught after discontinued smith and wesson k frame. the double action is smooth and consistant, best i have ever had the pleasure to shoot, zero take up with absolute weight consistancy through entire pull. the single action has no take up or creep, zero/nada/none, and breaks like a glass rod. with the compensator this weapon handles full house magnum loads like a pistol twice its size, with .38 special it feels like a .22
introduced in 1994, there were two runs of this pistol, the first with a serial prefix of SDA which includes this weapon, and was a stocking dealer exclusive, there were only a-hand full of these made. the second which ran in 1996 with a KCP serial number prefix built for distrabution through Lew Horton hence the nicname "Horton Special".
extras include: hard case (not origional), 2 speed loaders, leather owb holster, one 25 round box of hornady lever revolution hunting soft tip ammo, three 50 round boxes of winchester yellow box 38 special lead round nose, thats 175 rounds. i also have a digital copy of the origional dealers broshure!!! i had this up on the smith and wesson forum for a while and got a huge reaction, unfortunatly i am un williing to ship this firearm.

**tricked 18 - 16in flat top AR upper **(bushmaster, rockriver, LWRC, spikes, la rue, Noveske) 5.56mm, .223 wylde (no .223 rem chamber) 5.45x39 or 6.8mm. rail system and so on... would accept trade for full rifle but i already own a lone lower, if you have a nice complete rifle and want my lower to compensate for price difference im ok with that too.
