Default Bought my first pistol !!

Hey guys well....I got it!! I ended up with the M&P 9mm full size. I took the advice of many of you on here and went and shot several different types. I liked the .40 but I shot the 9mm so much better! I tried the glock and just really liked the grip and feel of the M&P 9. I almost went for the pro decided that I was happy with this gun and I think it will make a hell of good first weapon for my collection......I say collection because I am very new to this but after spending a couple of hours at the gun shop I had a shopping list for what was next

tks for the help!!!

Good for you!! Checking out the different guns like you did,
really was a good move. Can't think of a better way to find out
what works for You. Glad you found a winner, it'll be interesting
to see what you find next. Thanks for posting, TACC1.

Congrats! My MP 9 was also my first gun, that was about two years ago, and now I have 6!

Like you I held and shot many different guns and the MP felt the best in my hand. I don't have a gun range close, so when I go, I usually take a few hundred rounds.

Hey congrats and welcome to wonderful world of handguns. 100 rounds does go by fast! You own anything else or is this your first venture into firearms?

What else is on the wishlist?

Take that money you saved not buying the Pro and buy the Apex Tactical DCAEK if you decide you want a better trigger pull. I couldn't believe how nice it made the trigger for under $100 shipped.

Congrats, gamble. I too have an M&P 9 FS which is my first handgun. Got it about a month ago after shooting an M&P .40, SA XD9 and a Glock 19. I've put ~250 rounds through it so far and am headed to the local range again on Sat. for more fun.
