Default Lew Horton PC 15-8

Nickel model 15-8. From the Performance Center for Lew Horton.

Who knows the history on these? Anyone own one?

A production run of 150 is what I've been told. Serial prefix NSC. What would one of these retail for?

There were also a few hundred done in blue with case hardened frames. Different serial prefix too.

Frame mounted firing pin, and the integral frame bolster. Good shooters? Any problems with these revolvers? Regards 18DAI.

My two case-hardened models are fine shooters, I don't think I've ever read any negative comments about these. I don't shoot mine much, too many guns, and just prefer the 6" model 14 for general .38 Special plinking. As long as the price was right, I wouldn't hesitate to buy another.

They were not popular when first issued, and were often seen offered for sale new, for less than a standard used model 15 in excellent condition.

I don't see them come up for sale often these days, so I don't know what a fair price would be now.

Thanks Bullet Bob!! Yours looks great!

There is extremely little info out there on these guns.

Mine is the nickel version. I'll have it in eight weeks. I'll post a range report too. Thanks again! Regards 18DAI
