Smile daughter + guns = fun

Got my 18 year old daughter out to the range today to shoot a few guns. She wouldn't fire the M1 more than once (recoil shy maybe?) but she whooped my keester with a little .22 Ruger Bearcat. (Must be her young eyes.)

Great weather, a little humility, a nice afternoon.

Jon, get used to it. I have three daughters and one son and the girls out shoot us guys all the time. My eldest girl beats me with my Model 29. Not the outcome I would prefer but it's great to have them having fun together.

Both my daughters are good shots with rifles, the eldest in particular has taken several deer, all with one shot, all heart shot. Yep, she is a heartbreaker. (Sorry, couldn't resist).

It's pretty cool, the eldest has been my gun show buddy since she was about 12. The youngest is a Case knife collector.

I LOVE having my family with me!

Good stuff my friend! Nothing better than taking a woman shooting.
My sister usually fires my Mauser 98 (30-06) from the sitting position. The recoil sets her on her back, but she laughs everytime and begs to do it again.
She told me for her wedding pistol that she wants nothing less than a 4'' Model 28.
Both sisters get pistols as wedding gifts from me
