What Revolver in "The Rock's" new movie?
It looks like a non fluted cyl. Something big, like a Ruger Alaskan. Anyway it's nice to see a revolver and not some Hollywood punk holding a Semi-auto sideways.

Looks like a Ruger Alaskan - these have been made with unfluted cylinders also. Note the conspicuous hammer pivot pin.

That picture's funny because a flash is happening while the trigger is in the relaxed position...

I always have that look on my face when I fire a Ruger Alaskan.

All that indicates is that the Rock can shoot with Jerry Miculek, his finger is so fast on the return it almost beats the bullet out of the barrel. Either that or it's Photoshopped.
BTW, I would really love to see a video of someone handing the Rock that same gun loaded up with some 454 Casull, bet there would be a bit more muzzle flip than what you see in the movie. That's one thing Clint got right in his movie's, you shoot a big gun and it's going to move. In most shooting scenes today the actor's look like they're shooting a rimfire.

What about the movie itself?
This is out on redbox now, anyone wanna review the movie?
I don't mind a shoot 'em up, but if there's any up-close and personal torture-ish scenes, count me out.

WoW. What a nice revolver. Aldo I compare a Ruger to a Smith as an tractor to an Chevy. They both work. but the Smith looks nicer.
