Bianchi X15 for a K-38
I'm considering getting a Bianchi X-15 shoulder holster for my K-38 (6 inch barrel). This holster would mainly be for range use, carrying to and from. But also occasional concealment. I usually use a Bianchi OWB, but it requires a pretty long jacket.
I want to buy used so I've been checking on E-Bay. I believe that the proper size is 04? But most of what I'm seeing is medium and large. I guess these are older. What's the correct size for my gun?
Any other options I should consider?

One practical option is a smaller gun. Not trying to be funny, but a 6" barrel gun is very hard to conceal no matter what kind of holster your wear.
Be safe.

For your 6" K-38 you will want the X-15 in size "large". These will secure the K, L, and N-frames with 6" and 6.5" barrels, as well as the Colt Troopers and Pythons.
One of the better mass-produced vertical shoulder holsters, IMHO.
Some ranges don't allow shoulder holsters or cross-draw belt rigs, so check the rules at the range(s) that you use.

Thanks. I don't normally carry this weapon concealed, I have others that better suit that purpose. My range situation makes this possible. Plus, it's mainly for to and from use, with occasional concealed carry. The fact that it will fit my Model 25-2 makes it that much better.

I disagree on the "large". I own and use this holster in medium, large and X-large. IMHO, you will be better served for that pistol and your other pistol in the X-Large size. As others have said, this model shoulder holster is the watermark all the rest try to meet. ...... Big Cholla
