Extra Springs for 627-5 PC
I am looking to pick up some extra springs for my PC 627-5. Any advice on where I should get them. I wanna have a few stocked, just in case. I've looked at some of the websites that offer after market packages and i am not sure what to go with.

You shouldn't need any unless you want to get a better SA/DA trigger pull. A Wolf 13# or 14# rebound spring and a Type 2 main spring should do the trick. You will also need an 8/32x3/8" set screw to tune the mainspring to get reliable ignition with all ammo. Once tuned use a drop of blue Locktite to secure the set screw.

Good luck with that. I called them twice in the last couple of days about springs and they would tell me a thing.

+1 They really don't wear out in a normal usage lifetime.

I think Midway sells S+W stock springs. I just bought some rebound springs from them. Brownells also sells SW factory parts.

I'd buy a 10 bag of cylinder stop springs. Those are the ones that actually wear out. In fact you might want both the std and xtra power varieties.
I mean, why take a chance?
