Went to the gun show in Greenville, SC today. I was forced by unknown powers to buy a model 65-3 s/n AHJ54XX with a 3 inch barrel. About 90% gave $480 OTD. Now my model 13 has a friend to keep her company. This is a sickness I tell you, a sickness. I check my SCSW second edition and the serial number range is not listed the closest it AHC which is 1986. Can anyone zero in closer on the DOB?

Nice pickup, I have it's brother. Paid about $450 for it. Great guns...

That sounds good on price. I was at the show looking hard at a 66-1 2.5" p&r beauty. But it was $700

Guntherapist I think I saw the 66. Seemed a little high to me but I have not been following the prices on them. Did you see the M58s they were about 85% the seller was asking $1000 each. Too rich for me. I have not been able to go to a gunshow in about 2 years and this one was really good. It is the biggest show I have been to in Greenville. I enjoyed myself.
