Yep no more round guns in my area my last duty was a 681 in a Safariland 070 with three speed loaders. I don't get my wish that
I hoped to finish with a 58 for as my last duty wheel gun so folks
if you carried one on the street? I would sure like to see your duty
rigs holster and honest wear. I ran into other who carried Pythons,
Model 29's and all the numbers you can hang on a Smith but,
no 58's in my area. Thanks the idiot....

Carried this one for 13 years and a lot of miles up and down Wyoming's highways.
Sold my rig to a recruit when I quit.

Over 30 years ago, I started carrying a gun as a security guard in South Dallas...This was my first gun (without the ivory grips, I think I carried it with regular S&W Targets, or maybe Pachmyers) in a Don Hume Jordon thumb break holster. Carried it for awhile and then a Smith 25-5 and a few others. As a Police Officer (over 25 years ago), my first carry gun was a Government model.

I didn't carry this one as a corrections officer but some LEO did. A model 58 from the San Francisco PD.
