Default .32 HE 3rd Model

Does this I frame gun, made around 1930 serial # 5205xx have a sliding hammer block like the newer Smiths? It has a grove milled in the side plate, but I don't see one on dissambly.

If I'm not mistaken, the side plate should have the hammer block installed in it, and the hand will have a ledge on it that inactivates the block when the hammer is cocked.
