Default FS: Pre-war 38-44 HD *SPF*

Serial number is 395xx. Bluing is original, minimal wear with some freckling in spots, but no active rust. I'd say finish is 90%. Case color on hammer and trigger is good. Absolutely zero endshake. Timing is spot on and the action is as tight as any S&W I've ever handled. Bore and rifling look like new. No markings anywhere to indicate it's ever been back to the factory. The screws don't look like they've ever been touched. Genuine stag grips, period correct.

Gary, do the numbers match on the frame, cylinder and barrel? Also, could you post or send a close up of the sideplate? Those are Patricks grips? Thanks

All numbers match. Here is a closeup of the sideplate. Let me stress again that this looks worse in the pictures than it does in person.
