Magpul- Ctr or Acs
can anyone tell me if the price difference between the magpul ctr and acs stocks is really worth it, do you gain enough from getting the acs over the ctr to justify the the price?

To me it all comes down to personal preference and need. The CTR is just a MOE stock with an additional friction lock to reduce stock wiggle. The ACS gives you some onboard storage options and a different look. Both stocks give you some additional sling attachment options which are not available on the MOE, i.e., the ability to use the quick detach slings. So to me it is a question that only the individual user can answer. For my purposes I have been completely satisfied with the MOE stocks, as I tend to keep my rifles fairly plain and simple, but you may have different requirements.

You might try Brownells ( Brownells Search : Rifle Parts : Stock & Forend Parts - World's Largest Supplier of Firearm Accessories, Gun Parts and Gunsmithing Tools - BROWNELLS), Bravo Company ( Magpul Stocks), Midway USA ( MagPul at MidwayUSA), or even direct from Magpul Industries ( http://store.magpul.com/prod_detail_list/4). I am sure that there are other good companies out there, but I have been pleased with the service received from Midway USA, Brownells and Bravo Company USA all. You just have to check them all out, as one will sometimes have a better deal on a product or cheaper shipping.
Also be sure to check whether you receiver extension is milspec or commercial when ordering.
