Default Model 10-6 grips

I have my S&W Model 10-6 and want to change grips. I like the looks of the original wood ones but they just dont fit my hand. My question is what kinda grips would be best. I have used Hogues on just about all my guns but never had a set for revolvers.Should i sell my grips and get Hogues or Pachmyers?

I would save the originals and try several different types of wood and rubber stocks for fit. Depending on your hand size some will work great and others not. The other option is to find a grip adapter (like a Tyler T-grip) that fills the area in front of the grip frame. Hope this is helpful.

Don't sell your grips.........just put them in the closet and save them for the gun.
Send me a PM with your address and I'll throw a set of rubber grips in the mail for you - they are a spare set that I'll give you. If you decide you don't like them, you can regift them.

My thoughts exactly 28shooter. I have checked out a few forum and this one is about the best I've found. There is always someone willing to help a guy in need. If its advice or getting parts that are hard to come by.
