Default New to me Model 19-5, 2-1/2" Bbl.

No box or papers. The photos don't do it justice. Modest turnline, tight lockup, smooth DA trigger, very clean SA breaking trigger. Shoots nicely, too. AWW43XX, about July 1987.

What do you guys use for .357 ammo? I've got a few different kinds around but I haven't shot much besides 158 Gr 38 spcl and a few rounds of Sellier & Bellot .357.

CIsland, got pix of your 66? I'm kind of interested in getting one myself. The NH State Police used the 4-inch version until they switched to 45 ACP S&Ws, I don't recall which model in particular. They now use the M&P 45 ACPs and seem to like them just fine.

I'll raise this same question I have before and see if there is any new input: why do you think they made some guns with the RR and WO and some without? The last 19-5 2.5" I acquired had them both, and I see yours does not. To me it is a positive feature, wondering why it was not present on all? You found a nice gun, congrats!
