Default New to me 49

I went to a local show Saturday looking for a 649 .38 I could maybe afford. I found the same guy that had the same 649 at the last show, two months ago. His gun was pretty much NIB, and I didn't look at it last time. The 649 had a well done scroll lightly engraved in the sideplate. The guy quickly recovered from my rejection and came up with this 49 no dash. So now it's mine. I had to trade to afford it, but that was one of those new fangled auto matics.

This will be a workin gun. In my back pocket, with 225 lbs sittin on it. I wanted the stainless 649 .38, but they're in everybody else's pockets.

I have two of the M649s and an M38. Had a blued M49 but gave ito to my oldest son, who doesn't shoot it much.

Have been looking for a nickled M49 for a while. Congrats on finding a nice gun.
