Customer service with Apex was excellent Scott said we'll get the order out this afternoon.
I have a M&P 45C.
I had fired close to 100 rds the first and only time I had it out and I honestly had dry fired it at least a hundred times hoping the trigger would eventually improve a little. Nope unk uh notta.
After the trip to the range I used my Lyman pull gauge and for 20 pulls the average was 7-15 and the trigger felt like the bottom was dragging on the driveway.
I took my time installing the Apex kit really taking a closer look at how it all works together in there.
The work is a bit tedious and you have to use some real caution when removing pieces with related springs. Only mistake I made was on the slide I moved the sight out of the slot pretty quick.... yep the little cover and spring took off straight up. The gods were with me and they fell back just a foot or so away thank god for that......that spring would be EXTREMELY hard to find on a garage floor and lord help if it was a shag carpet.LOL
Any who.... got everything in and lubed up. Dry fired about 50 times then put the gauge to it. First let me say the take up now is very smooth no more gravel road. 20 pulls on the same Lyman gauge showed 5-9 so that is over a two pound improvement. I'm sure it will get a couple tenths better after a couple hundred rounds.
So for us suffering with the gritty trigger and heavy pull the Apex kit is worth every penny at least for me anyway. Plus Apex don't mess around and get the kit on the way quick.
