I am getting a lasergrip for my new 686. The question is which one????????????
What is the difference between a LG-306 compaired to a LG-308. The 308 is listed as the "hoghunter". Is that to mean it is a bigger grip? Has anyone had these two "in your hands" and can tell me the difference?

I have the LG308 on my 686+. To determine what you need, take your current grip off. Is the frame "round butt" or "square butt"? (If it is a 686+ then almost certainly it is "round butt".) If so, note that your current grip is held in place by a screw that fits into a swivelling stirrup at the bottom of the frame. When you get your Crimson Trace grips, that stirrup will have to be removed, or you will never get them to fit. I had to learn this the hard way.

By the way, you will find the CT grip to be at least as good a grip as the one that came with your 686+. And welcome to the forum!
