Default Skype (?)

Hi, folks - Does "Skype" work interchangeably from PC to Mac, and vise-versa?... just wondering. Thanks.

Pete, I don't think it is interchangable, but you can download Skype for Mac or Skype for PC for free.

It sure does Oldfella ....

I highly recommend finding the old version (3.8) instead of 5.1 ... it's user friendly.

Thanks - I downloaded Skype on my Mac and promptly found out I couldn't make a phone-video contact with my daughter, she also has a Mac. I checked around on the Net and found that I had to buy at least $10 bucks worth of "credit". Since at the start it says it is free, I did some more checking and found the both parties have to be on "Skype" to do it for free - that's fair!... but most people have Windows/PC, and therefore my question. My neighbor has a HP laptop, and she is on Skype - I'm going to test it. Thanks.

Pete
