Other than Carter Country....

who else would stock gun powder?

I am looking for a couple of cans of AA#2

There are a couple of cans locally and the seller is gouging at over $30 a can. the problem I have with buying them at that price....the labels are stained and faded meaning those cans have been there for many years....and Powder Valley is selling AA#2 at $15.50 a can. of course I made a heavy powder order about 6 months ago from powder valley and ate the haz mat fee, but cannot justify ordering two cans as that would be around $28 plus shipping....in the same boat but likely not powder that has been sitting for yearsssss.

I am gonna be in Houston in a few weeks for a day and want to score some "powder"!!!

Accurate has a dealer search by state on their web site. There is a dealer in League City about 24 mi. SE of Houston. MOA Custom, 713-382-3118. Call them and ask. That's the only one they show anywhere close to Houston. Next closest is one in Waco.

I guess I could drive home in through League City.

Try Bailey's. They're on Almeda just off the beltway. They have a good stock of reloading supplies and the prices are okay. They are closed on Mondays.
