SOLD: Registered Magnum Parts Gun (UT)
This is a registered magnum parts gun that I bought about 4 years ago. It has a registered magnum frame, cylinder, side release, hammer, and trigger. The sights and barrel appear to be from a model 27. It has been refinished, nicely I think, and has some speckling on the sideplate/cylinder. It has also been drilled for a lanyard. This would make a great shooter or parts gun for you guys who are looking to restore a registered magnum or model 27. I will post more pictures as requested. Price...$950 or best offer (I will pay for shipping/insurance). Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

Under the crane it says REG 3000 with 12663 underneath it. The back face of the cylinder reads 56839 with a B<> symbol underneath. The number inside the ejector rod housing is 36339.
I've had a question about whether or not the hammer is authentic, and after looking at some reference pictures, I no longer think that it is. Check out the additional pictures. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Detailed Photo Album with Markings
A few of you guys have been asking me some detailed questions regarding the sights, hammer, and markings so I decided to draw out every marking that I could find on the gun. I also took a series of more detailed photos. I think that the barrel is pre-27 now due to the serial numbers inside of the ejector shroud. It also might be a factory rework due to the <> diamond marking on the inside of the ejector shroud and the back face of the cylinder. The best way to describe the finish is a very dark hot blue that reminds me of a 70s Model 29. Here's a link to the photo album:
