Modified N Frame target grips?

Anyone ever see N frame target grips modified to expose the backstrap and the bottom of the frame?

Sort of a combination of Magna and target grips.

Anyone do this work or sell such a hybrid?

Sounds like what you're after would be the equivalent of Magna's with a Tyler T-grip adapter.

The factory targets already expose the frame backstrap, trimming off the grip bottom flush with the frame isn't much of stretch to do, I may already have a shortened set in my grip box that I bought as "donor" grips to use the wood for repairing other grips.

Sir, what you're describing sounds like the old Kearsarge stocks. They left the back and bottom straps exposed, as well as most of the front strap, except for a small "filler" at the top behind the triggerguard.

I don't know of anyone making such stocks today, but certainly you could modify a set of factory target stocks--or any other wood stocks with a filler behind the guard--in the same way.
