7MM Remingto Mag.
You guys who really use the cartridge a question. What is THE PROVEN load for the Nosler Partition 160 grain? I konw about differences in rifles as I'm not a beginner but I've never loaded for the one.
These loads will be used for elk. Where do I start? Thanks guys.....Creeker

I shoot and reload for 7mm (.284) Weatherby magnum. Because I live in non-rifle state I do not hunt with it. I only use it for 200 meter target with Nosler Accubond 160gr spitzer exclusively and reload about 50 rounds a year…if you’re interested it’s all here: Cartridge Loads - Hodgdon Reloading Data Center - data.hodgdon.com

RL 22 is what I use, 64.3gr and a 164 Hornady -- IMR4831 has worked well too.

Lynn,
I don't use a bullet that heavy, but I do use 140-139 gr at 3200 or so with IMR 4350. That load will punch a hole through 1/2" plate at 400 yards, so I wonder why use a 160 gr?

You're all set.
A near-max load with IMR4831 and that 160gr Nosler Partitiion will shoot through an elk lengthwise.
Does the trick for caribou, too.

Thanks guys, I got her did. Seems the favorite powder is IMR4831 & IMR4350, at least from those who posted, emailed & PM.
Paul the 160 grain was chosen more from the request of the rifle owner than anything else. Have to please you know.
