Default .40 S&W TSW?

Why does the 4006TSW, 4003TSW, etc., always come from the factory with the straight grips and not the curved grips?

From my reading on these forums, the curved grips will fit.

I believe that's because the original 4006 had them and it stuck. But you can retrofit the curved grips, I've seen a few 4006s with said grips on them. Dale

The straight grip is the standard grip. It's that simple.

The 5900 and 4000 full size models share the same grip size so either will fit.

Because the straight grip is the best one.

I actually prefer the straight one, that was the only thing I didn't like about my old 5906. Sold it before I got around to changing them

Thanks, both grips feel fine, but I like the curved grip better, so I guess I'll replace mine, down the road.
