My Dad has a model 10-5 (4" barrel) that has been sitting in his safe for many years. The serial# is C7935xx. Any idea when this revolver was made?

I took this revolver out today, and was really impressed. The trigger is great, and the accuracy is every bit as good as I expected it would be. While the 10-5 isn't sexy to look at, it had a great feel and classic look, and I'll make sure it gets out of the safe a little more often from now on.

1964-65, probably towards the tail end of that period because it C810xxx is the end of 1965. Definately a classic and still sexy in my opinion. That model has proven it itself to no end.

I have my Dad's Model 10-5 with 6 inch tapered barrel made in 1968 and it's mint and it's also a shooter.

Thanks for the reply. I was born in 1964, so that makes it even more special. This one is definitely going to spend more time outside of the safe.
