Yes, it’s an excellent resource. This forum has had a link to it in the Gun FAQ’s since 2005.

There's a lot of information hidden in the stickys!

Is this guy paying a commission or something?
This was just posted two days ago.
I'll merge the two threads.
Also note that this is in post #4 in the The Gun FAQs , which is in the Sticky: Notable Thread Index in the 1896-1961 section, so it is always available here since 2005.

When you go to that site, it now says that Smith and Wesson’s attorney made them remove the Smith manuals....pitty!

When I go to that site (any of Steve's Pages) it tells me I need authorization to look at them.
Can't find how to get authorization though.

Same here Alpo. Looks like a great page, but might be like Chuck Hawks where you have to pay to see the classified stuff. It ain't that great then

Be very careful. That site wants your sign in user name and password from Microsoft.
I will not give them that so I can't comment on the quality of the site.

That site became a hotbed of trojans a few years back. I hope it has been cleaned up since.

I used page 8d (cartridge dimensions) for years. It was free.
Then Steve died. It ran for a few more years, because, apparently, he'd paid his website fee in advance.
Then it closed. Then someone else took it over and opened it back, but it was still just GO THERE AND LOOK. And that lasted a year or so.
Now you gotta sign in.

Bookmarked it. I'm not financially able to buy guns now, but I'll send it to my son. Thanks.
