Any TL is worth looking at, but yours got more lookworthy as soon as it was properly dressed. Congratulations on the score. Please post a range report (or barbecue report, if that's more appropriate) when you can.

TLs are scarce. TLs with 4" barrels are mighty scarce. That's a nice piece.

Very nice gun.
On a related note, what is the going rate for a 4" nice/shooter grade TL these days?

M-1911, that is a great looking triple lock and a 4"er to boot. I'll bet she shoots like a dream. I just got off the net looking at tracking numbers and my 4" TL is due to be delivered today! It is not as pretty as yours but it will need a new set of clothes. I will post photos when she gets here. Great find and at a great price. I have never had one and its been my grail gun for the last 3 years. Congradulations!!!

Just in time for Bar-B-Que season! Great find that will bring envious looks wherever it goes.

1911, you could open a detail shop for S&W's that need to be spiffed up. Sort of like getting them ready for a Bar B Q, or range duty or other special occasion. What an improvement.
4" Triple Locks just have "that Look" don't they. Thanks for sharing.

Thank's for the compliments and kind words. Yes, I agree that TL's, now especially the 4 inch ones do have "that look"
