Gunbroker weirdness
I'm looking at Gunbroker tonight and there are two really weird 19s listed. One is a Model 19-4 which the seller lists as stainless. A stainless 19? Never heard of it, although the photos of the gun sure make it look like a stainless gun. The yoke clearly shows a "19-4" stamp on it. The other is a 1975 vintage 19-3. This one also looks kind of stainless, but it may very well be nickel or an overexposed blue. But, what's really weird about this one is that there are SEVEN charge holes in the cylinder. A seven shot 19?

Better yet, the SS 19-3 from 1975 is not pinned and recessed,
and it comes with the internal lock.
What a deal. The pre-lock, lock?
My guess it is a 686 Plus, 7 shot, 3" and the seller described the wrong gun.

The 19-4 is a refinished gun done in one of the hard chrome finishes. Didn't see the 7 shot frankingun.

Yes, on second glance, the "7-shot" 19 definitely is a late-vintage 686. But, I'm not certain about the finish on the "stainless 19". The cylinder, at least, looks like it's stainless. Is it possible that it's a mis-stamped 66?
