looking at a nickel 3rd model 44 he that shipped in 1927.The question is were the ejectors nickel or blued on a nickel gun of that time period.Mike

Hmmmm, I cant say with absolute positive answer but 2 that I have owned that were factory original both had nickle ejector rods, the stars were blue if I remember right.

I'd go with Dan on this. I am sitting/laying here now with my Nickel 3rd Model 44HE next to me and it has a nickel ejector rod/blued star too. Dave
