Finally a new 327 night guard
Having waited for almost a year to get my new night guard I am very excited to have it, Holding it makes me even prouder of it. I don't like the lock part but what can you do? Guess I will just have to get used to it. All the advertisements said a personal defense weapon and they aren't lying. Has very good sights, trigger, and 8 shots, I can hardly wait to shoot it. Oh well enough B.S. just very happy about my latest and only revolver. Thanks for listening

Great gun. Trying to figure out what the difference is between the 327NG and the 327 Performance Center 2" snubbie.
327NG has XS tritium & C&S sights.
327NG has Pachmayr Compac grips.
327NG is about $150 cheaper.
327PC has forged hammer and trigger with over travel stop.
327PC has a Lothar Walther barrel.
327PC has ball detent crane lockup.
327PC has Ahrends tactical fingergroove grips.
327PC has PC trigger job.
What are the other differences?

Maybe the one you're thinking about, but not the one I just listed the attributes for.
VS.

The 327PC has a Titanium cylinder while the 327NG has a stainless cylinder
The 327PC is also cut for moon clips while the 327NG is not.
The 327PC has a tensioned barrel the 327NG does not.
I have both. Purchased each of them as soon as they came out. Both are FANTASTIC firearms

How much would it cost to add the NG sight set up to the PC? $250?

I decided against the 327NG last fall - and bought a second 2 5/8" PC627 UDR - it was only a few dollars more! Here it is with a lobo leather holster - great deal, as are the moonclips - my main reason to select it over the 327NG (No local 327PC's.). Weight isn't a problem - it was destined for HD use. The 5starfirearms.com speedloaders & bases are great, too.
Now, if the Tritium Night Sight is what you want - try to evaluate any of the NG series - or the 60 Pro - before hand. I was accustomed to the searchlight that is the large orange ramp on the UDR - and the HiViz/SDM fiber optic sights, too - both visible in low light. My purchase of a new 3" 60 Pro in January was 'illuminating' - actually, not so much. That NS is so dim, it is only useful for me in total darkness - and then you cannot see your target. If you have a 327PC, I'd think seriously before I'd put a NS on it. Just some thoughts. Of course, if weight is important... the PC627 UDR/327NG/327PC weigh 37.6/27.6/21.4 oz respectively. Any way you go, a stubby 327/627 is a great revolver - congratulations!

I'll second Stainz comments about the "searchlight" quality of the PC front sight. That thing is HUGE in use and is by far the easiest of my sights to see. So much so in fact that I put an express rear on my 627PC and then took it off. It was actually slower to acquire and line up the "line" to the front than just centering the front and letting her rip.
They've been using this same dovetail for awhile out of the PC and while I wish there was a readily available brass bead swap out, its not a slow sight set up by any means. And easy to see in all but a closet, at midnight, in a basement, with no moon.

Stainz, you always find the best S&W grips to swap out on your guns. Do you have the part number for those on the 627? I followed your lead on the 60 pro grips on my 63 and they are very nice so I'm hoping these are as comfortable.
