Novaks Gunsmithing?
Its my understanding that Wayne Novak no longer does the gunsmithing work on the pistols in his shop, his assistants do all the work.
Im just wondering if anyone has had any work done recently at Novaks Gunsmithing(say in the past few years).
How good was the Quality of work done, as good as Wayne Novaks work himself?
Thanks for the feedback

I had a 4516-1 action smoothed out about 3-4 yrs ago... don't know if Wayne Novak worked on it, but I can tell you they did an excellent job. Made my other 3rd gen pistols feel like the actions were something produced by an old Soviet Bloc labor camp.

I have some older gun mag articles on Novak's work on S&W autos, and my understanding is that Novak rarely did the work on those. The S&W auto work was done by Roger Echard.

Michelangelo didn't do all his work, either; neither did john M. Browning, for that matter. And Kalashnikov was head of a 1,000-member design/build team. Wonder how much time he spent on a milling machine?

Thanks for sharing those articles EB71. I might have to send my 3913 into Novaks for some freshening up.
Welcome to the forum too! Regards 18DAI.
