910S Help
I was at my LGS today and came across a 910S, LNIB, 2 mags, paperwork, etc.. They are asking $449 (can probably get them down to $425 OTD). Good deal or no? I am new to 3rd gen S&W autos and don't know price points. Just bought a LNIB 3913LS for $350 (I know that's a good deal!). Not much info on web on 910S prices.
Thanks,
pineappleshooter

pineappleshooter,
Not a great deal, probably fair, but when did you last have the chance to buy a 910?

Like I said - I am new to 3rd gen autos so I wasn't sure. First 910s I have ever seen.

910
The 910 is a value line, 10 shot mag pistol. Add a 15 round mag, and it becomes a 915. Either way, for that money, you should be able to find a good used 5904 (alum. frame) or a 5906 (stainless frame). But, it is still a nice pistol, and if you like it for the money, you won't be disappointed.

Just checked gunbroker - I could get a LNIB 5906 for the same price. Think I'll pass. Oh well, the hunt is half the fun!

The 915 is much closer to a 5904, than any 910 is to a 915. Different than a single mag swap. Guide rod, mag catch, sights, slide contours, etc.
