Default Watching a cleanup crew...

of about 8 turkey buzzards working over a room temperature opossum as I sit here typing this. They are not sharing well. It was about 96 F here today. I thought I smelled something dead in the area when I came home from work.

I hope they get him cleaned up before tomorrow as it's supposed to be 97 F + tomorrow.

I'll tell you what my friend, you definitely know how to have a good time! I wonder if they ever kill anything, (the buzzards), when there ain't nothing getting killed for them?
Have a delicious evening,
Gordon

I sort of like to watch wildlife films where vultures fight with jackals over lion kills in Africa.

It reminds me of drivers on Central Expressway. Stemmons Freeway is even worse. More like the hyenas have arrived to join the party.

They're still at it, and pictures are not going to happen.

Something ate half a cottontail in my suburban back yard a few weeks ago. I was debating what to do with the rear half as it was pretty gross and I did not want it in my trash for three days. I let nature take its course and there was nothing left in two.
