Default Finally my 15-22 search comes to an end.

Hello guys... if you've read any of my post you know I've been looking for a 15-22 for quite some time now. I called a semi-local dealer near me (45 minutes away)... and some of you familiar with the North Alabama area probably know the shop. Larry's pistol and pawn. Anyway, I called earlier this week and they said they had some 15-22's in stock. Well, I couldn't make the trip until yesterday, which happened to be my birthday. The wife and I drove over, I walked in... and there she sat the 15-22 A1 - $450. I figured I could've haggled with them some and knock a few bucks off.... then my wife says "This one says 15-22 as well". I was so caught up in finding the 15-22 A1 IN STOCK, that I missed what was sitting right in front of me. It was the 15-22 Performance Center Model. Yup, that's right... just sitting there. I started drooling... my heart has always been set on getting the MOE version, but at this point of searching.. I was willing to take any model I could find. I knew the PC model was a rare and beautiful bird to snag. But the PC model, at a local shop, sitting there? First one I've ever got my hands on or even seen in person. The price was on up there... but compared to online shops, after shipping and FFL fees etc. It was right on. I just didn't know if I wanted to drop the money, especially having to deal with the wife and all that comes with that. So I ended up walking out of the store.

We get in the Escape, she said 'she could just see it all over my face'. I had plans to come back and snag the A1 model at minimum anyway. The guy told me they had 6 of those in stock, and we had some more shopping to do. Anyway, she looked at me and said 'is that a good price on the performance center model' we talked back and forth... and the words that I never thought I'd hear come out of my wife's mouth.... 'If it's a good buy, go get it, it's the one you want, it's your birthday'.

Before she knew what was going on, I was in the store filling the paper work out.

So she came home with me. My 15-22 search has finally come to an end. Welcome home 15-22PC model, welcome home!

That's awesome. Always seems to happen that when I'm low on clams I see all the stuff I want, and when I do have the money poof nothing. The stars were aligned for you bro congrats.
