Hello from the Crystal Coast of NC
Mornin', all. I'm glad to have found this forum. My name's Joe, and I'm from New Bern, NC. I've been a S&W admirer for as long as I can remember and about 12 hours ago I became a S&W owner for the first time.
I am the proud owner of a Model 10-6, and from what I can gather from internet searches, it is a 1967 model- nickel with wood square butt grips. The nickel isn't perfect and the grips show a little wear, but it's mine.
My wife had to tell me to keep my hands off of it and put it away.
I'm looking forward to learning more about my S&W and reading the forum.
Again, it's great to be here and I won't bore you with my excitement over my new revolver.

Welcome to the forum from Arkansas. If you post the serial number with two XX's in the last two positions we can give you a closer date of birth for the revolver. It will either have a C or a D in front of the serial number and you should tell us that to.
