Default Well, the hangtag on the shotgun said Sears....

So the proprietor of the shop priced it accordingly. I imagine if you looked it up you would find that Sears had a line of O/U shotguns made for them by Marlin. By the way, those Model 90's are excellent guns marked as JC Higgins.

This is no JC Higgins.....

Anyone wanna Guess...?

I ain't one to typically tell one how to shoot... but you need to bring the muzzle up to be on target for your intended game. Sorry couldn't resist from the camera angle, it looks like the gun but and the dog are almost in a perfect line

Tom,

I look at any lightweight 12 gauge as a low brass gun. Mine will get used for Partridge and such. Having to hike hill country and woods roads up here in Maine, a lightweight makes sense.

Plus At my advanced years, I need to accessorize, folks tend to look more at the beautiful gun than the old-timer limping it around.

That is a Zoli I have one I got in 1976 from Sears they were priced at 300 but they had it on sale and I got it for 200. They sold a 101 that the forearm iron was a little different from a 101 but the paper work listed Winchester/Olin-Kodensha as the parts supplier. I have a 20 O/U That is a Ted Williams model 200 IIRC and they were 300 at least and had a mechanical trigger, not an inertia like the later 101's. The Ted Williams O/U was sold in 72 and 73. After thinking back I still have the Zoli but when you break it down be sure to grease or oil the trunnions and also the back of the forearm iron where it matches the frame as they will gall, mine did a bit and a friend that bought a 12 Zoli did the same right out of the box. Jeff

Nevermind--didn't read the last page. I guessed Miroku--I didn't get the Sip hint.

That's a nice gun, I love double triggers.

I have a Weatherby Regency Trap that was made by Zoli in 1980. It has an engraved, nitrided receiver with sideplates and a Claro walnut stock. I had Brent Umberger fit and refinish the stock. It's my favorite gun for doubles trap.
