Default Another Snubbies Infection...

I seem to be relapsing into my Snubbies outbreak.... This time a K frame 64. It seems I cannot get rid of the malady, and I am not sure I want to do so!

Here's that latest manifestation...

And, I just had a custom leather holster made for it....

Here's mine, de-horned and wearing a VERY extensively modified set of Herrrett's Jordan Trooper stocks.

There's been several additions since this pic was taken, but you get the idea...

Gorgeous 64, Match 10! Snubs are just too much fun and I'm looking forward to adding to my growing collection.

What did that custom holster set you back, if you don't mind my asking?

Just added a 64-2 2" to my little collection. Fired it last weekend, the gun shot like a laser. It instantly became my personal favorite.

That is a custom rig by "ZooKeper", Chuck Barber, here in Georgia. He does very nice work. It was $65.

Only two in the collection so far but the 642 has factory S&W pink grips for the wife.

I was issued the same model as a police lieutenant before my retirement in '97. It was a great shooter that I actually did better with on the range than the 4" model. Go figure . . .

That one was my grandfather's model 60. When I was a little kid it seemed so big, but now it seems so petite. I guess my hands are bigger than his, as I can easily grip it too high and stop the hammer travel. I assure you, that one will never be for sale.

Right!

That's what I say about this pink gun...

It came with a set of black boot grips so I figured that they could be swapped out when the wife discovered she didn't like shooting as much as she thought she would. My mistake, now she's coveting some of the other guns in the safe.
