I had one for a while and liked it. It's maybe the only Smith auto I like the square trigger guard on. CDNN had some new Uncle Mike's grips for them cheap a while back.

Just got one myself not too long ago. They are GREAT pistols.

The 469 is a "second generation" S&W auto pistol. They were originally intended for the US Air Force to arm their aircrews. They are basically cut-down model 59's with a bobbed hammer, slightly shortened alloy frame, and 12-round magazine. They were made from the early 1980's to the late 1980's.

I LOVE mine. It is @ 98-99%, shoots everything I put through it, fits my hand well, and is a pleasure to to shoot.

I have a 669 and when I travel to states where I can CCW, it is what I usually have. Never a problem with it.

Had mine for 12 years, love it, just can't feed it 147 grain bullets.
It'll eat 115 grain all day.

Had several over the years. Found them to be excellent guns. Sold my most recent one appx 6 months ago. Just had too many 9MM's Decided to part with it.
